You can filter based on conditions like states, system fields, dates, or custom fields. These filters are reusable and can be applied across lists, reports, views, charts, and even buttons—making your data work smarter for you. ### Creating a Filter To create a Filter: - Navigate to Filters: - Go to the **Admin Interface**. - Open the desired **Track> Filters.** - Click **"Create New"** to create a new Filter, or click **"Clone"** to duplicate an existing one and modify it as needed. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/31abc2bc-21c1-457d-a88c-27afd2eed7d6/Images/Documentation/image(307).png) - **Provide Filter Details:** - **Name**: Enter a **unique name** for the filter. - **Description**: Add a brief description to explain the purpose of the filter. - **Add Filter Rules (Clauses):** - Click **“Add New Clause”** to begin. - A new section will appear where you can: - **Select a Field** you want to apply the filter on. - **Choose a** [**Condition Operator**](/v1/docs/general-filters#conditional-operators) (based on the field type). - **Set the Value Type:** Once you've selected the field and condition, choose how to apply the value: - **Literal**: Manually enter a fixed value. - **Field**: Compare the selected field against another field's value. - **Lookup by Logged-in User**: Special option used to filter data relevant to the current user. **Example**: To show only records assigned to the logged-in user, use this type. - **Add Multiple Rules:** - Use **“Add New Clause”** or `+` the **icon** next to a rule to insert more conditions. - **Use AND/OR Logic and Grouping:** - Combine rules with **AND** / **OR** operators to define logical flow. - To group rules: - Check the boxes beside the rules you want to group. - Click **“Parenthesis”** at the top to apply grouping. - To remove a group, click on the applied parenthesis to remove it. - **Manage Rules:** - Use the `X` **icon** next to any rule to delete it from the filter expression. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/31abc2bc-21c1-457d-a88c-27afd2eed7d6/Images/Documentation/image(308).png) **History Tab** All configuration changes are recorded in the **History tab** with detailed logs and timestamps for tracking. ### Conditional Operators | Operators | Text | Date/ DateTime | Int/ Float | Choice/ Label | Multichoice | Formula/ Calculation | Relationship | Signoff | Image/ File | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Equals | ✔️ | ✔️ | ✔️ | ✔️ | | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | Not Equals | ✔️ | ✔️ | ✔️ | ✔️ | | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | In | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | | | | | | Not In | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | | | | | | Contains Text | ✔️ | | | | | | | | | | Not Contains Text | ✔️ | | | | | | | | | | Greater Than | | ✔️ | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | | | | Less Than | | ✔️ | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | | | | Between | | ✔️ | | | | | | | | | Less than or equals | | ✔️ | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | | | | Greater than or equals | | ✔️ | ✔️ | | | ✔️ | | | | | Contains Option | | | | | ✔️ | | | | | | Not Contains Option | | | | | ✔️ | | | | | | Count Equals | | | | | ✔️ | | ✔️ | | | | Count Not Equals | | | | | ✔️ | | ✔️ | | | | Count Less Than | | | | | ✔️ | | ✔️ | | | | Count Greater Than | | | | | ✔️ | | ✔️ | | | | Contains Reviewer | | | | | | | | ✔️ | | | Contains Object | | | | | | | ✔️ | | | | Not Contains Object | | | | | | | ✔️ | | |
