Introduction
Field Groups allow you to organize related fields within a Track by grouping them together. You can add both custom fields and system-generated fields to a Field Group.
Key Features
You can create multiple Field Groups under a Track.
Field Groups can be added to Views and Documents for better data organization.
The Field Group Name serves as the heading, and the fields within the group are displayed in the configured order.
You can also add buttons under Field Group settings.
Creating a Field Group
Open the target Track and navigate to the Field Groups page. All the existing field groups will displayed in a table format.
Click "Create New" to create a new Field Group, or click "Clone" to duplicate an existing one and modify it as needed.
Configuration

Field Group Name
Enter a unique name for the Field Group.
If you want to display a different name to users, use the Alternative Name field.
Description
Provide a brief description of the Field Group for reference.
Help Text
Add helpful context or instructions for users interacting with the Field Group. The help text will be available to the user when they click on the
Adding Fields
Click the "+" icon to add fields to the group.
Drag and drop fields to rearrange their display order.
Adding Buttons
Click the "+" icon to add buttons within the Field Group.
There are only limited use cases for adding buttons at the field group level. It is recommended to add buttons at the View level rather than the Field Group level for simplicity.
Click "Create" to finalize the Field Group.

Managing Field Groups
Edit and Delete
Click on the Field Group Name from the list to open and modify its configuration.
You can update the name, description, help text, fields, and buttons as needed.
Click the delete icon to remove a Field Group.
Deleting a Field Group will remove it from all locations where it is referenced.
History Tab
All configuration changes are recorded in the History tab with detailed logs and timestamps for tracking.
