Page lists are an essential navigation tool within the client portal, allowing you to organize and streamline access to different pages. Acting as clickable links, page lists direct users to specific pages, enhancing the overall user experience by providing a clear and efficient way to navigate through the portal.

A single page list include multiple pages, with each page having its own unique navigational link. For example, on the Home Page, a page list can serve as a central hub for navigation, providing links to frequently used pages like View Lists, Create Objects, Reports.

In the screenshot below, you can see a Page List embedded within a client portal page. This Page List serves as a collection of links, each redirecting to a different pages.

Creating a Page List

Navigation

  • Open the Admin Interface: Navigate to the Client Portal section.

  • Click on the Page Lists option. This will display all the existing pages in a list format.

  • Create or Clone:

    • To create a new page list, click on the Create New button.

    • Alternatively, to replicate an existing page list, use the Clone option. You can then edit the cloned page list as needed.

Page List Configuration

  • Provide a name and a brief description for your page list.

  • Click on Add Page Link to create a new entry. A new section will appear labeled Page Link # (indicating the link number).

  • Link Header: Enter a caption for your link, which will act as the title.

  • Link Body: Add a brief description beneath the caption. This is useful for providing additional context about the page users are navigating to.

  • Page: Use the dropdown to select the destination page for redirection.

  • Choose a Background Color and Hover Background Color to enhance the visual appearance of the page link. By default, no color is selected.

  • Click the X button next to the entry to remove it from the list.

Once the Page List is defined, you can include it as an item in any client portal page where you want this navigation list to appear.
