In this sprint, we wanted to show all TeamTracks admins some love. As part of a larger design refresh, we are rolling out some changes aimed at improving the admin experience.
White-space Navigation refresh
Admin Interface
We are removing the "Edit" button in the admin interface in favor of hyperlinks. The goal is to enable admins to quickly navigate through their configuration quickly. This change also makes the admin interface more touch friendly.
Old Look
New LookThe object name is now a hyperlink and opens the object configuration in the current tab.
New Selector interface
Admin Interface
The field/view selector is getting a new look. Moving from a two-column format to the table format is to enable clients with large number of configuration objects (fields/groups/views) to easily navigate the admin interface. The new interface will replace most of the selectors in the admin interface providing a minimal and functional interface.

New InterfaceReordering the table
Having the ability to quickly reorder a field group is invaluable after the initial setup. The new tables support dragging to reorder. Bye bye to the up and down arrows. Bye bye to the pain.
Adding a new object to the table

- The conveniently placed "+" button opens a new pop up window with all the fields/views in the current track-type.
 - Click on the object you want to add and it will be highlighted with in a green box. Select more than one and even across pages. To remove an object from selection, click on it again.
 - Each object selected will be displayed in the selection summary at the top of the pop up window.
 - You can quickly remove an object using the "x" button on the object name in the summary.
 - The add button adds the selected fields to the table.
 - Click on the name or type column headers to sort the table. The sorting is reset to default each time the window is opened.

User Account Management
The team member and client accounts will now show the following attributes in the admin interface.
- Date Created
 - Date Modified
 - Modified by user
