Introduction

In TeamTracks, data management and workflow processes are track-specific, meaning each track operates independently to efficiently manage its respective objects. However, there are scenarios where you may need a consolidated view of data across multiple tracks for example, managing different RMA processes as separate tracks due to their unique lifecycles but still needing a unified list to analyze all RMAs together.

General Configuration provides a solution for this by allowing you to:

  • Create General Fields that act as a shared field across multiple tracks.

  • Map General Fields to specific fields within each track to pull in relevant data.

  • Build General Lists that display combined data from multiple tracks in a single view.

  • Apply General Filters to refine the list based on specific requirements.

By leveraging General Configuration, you can access and analyze information beyond track-specific boundaries, making it easier to gain insights and manage cross-track data effectively.
